Jeb Dunnuck "The 2018 Côtes-Du-Rhône La Réserve De L'Abbé Blanc offers attractive notes of tangerines, spiced citrus, and white flower notes to go with a medium-bodied, balanced, enjoyable style on the palate. It's a juicy, food-friendly white to drink over the coming year or two."

Jeb Dunnuck "The 2018 Côtes-du-Rhône is a rich, meaty, beefy effort that has plenty of Provençal character and charm. It's medium-bodied, concentrated, and has terrific mid-palate depth, especially in this vintage."

The Manarine Côtes-du-Rhône Déconfiné is a 100% Grenache from sandy soils. It is incredibly pure and textured, with aromas of black cherries, blackberries, melted licorice, grilled meat, and graphite that blend into a full-bodied, elegant, yet powerful wine with no rough edges, fine tannin, and great length. It is a magnificent wine that will rival many...

Even better than his 2016 (!), the 2019 Lirac by Roger Sabon starts off perfumed and floral, backed by delicate berry notes. Medium to full-bodied, it's creamy and supple, with a long finish. Even after blind-tasting 40+ Liracs, I described this in my notebook as "electrifying stuff." It should drink well for close to a decade.

Jeb Dunnuck "The 2019 Lirac Blanc is also terrific. White peach, white flowers, hints of spice and brioche all emerge from this medium-bodied, rounded, beautifully textured white that stays pure, balanced, and layered."
