Jeb Dunnuck "A blend of 60% Grenache, 19% Mourvèdre, 14% Syrah, and the rest Cinsault, Vaccarèse and other varieties, the 2018 Châteauneuf Du Pape Cuvée Julien Barrot sports a vibrant purple/ruby color as well as a fresh, racy bouquet of violets, blackberries, cracked pepper, and black cherries. It's medium to full-bodied, has, again, wonderful purity, and a great finish. This is a feminine, elegant, perfumed vintage for this cuvée."
