Janasse Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes 2020 - red wine

Being composed of 70% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre and the rest Syrah, Cinsault and Terret Noir. As usual, this is a more powerful and fruitier wine than the Cuvée Chaupin, with lots of creme de cassis, liquid violets, crushed rocks, wood smoke and peppery herbs. It displays the purity and freshness of the vintage while providing concentration as well as structure. It is one of a handful of great wines of the vintage.
