Janasse Châteauneuf-du-Pape Prestige 2009 - white wine

The 2009 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Cuvée Prestige (a 100-case blend of 60% roussanne and the rest bourboulenc, clairette and grenache blanc) is incredible. It is viscous, with lots of honeysuckle, white peach and marmalade notes, in a perfumed, full-bodied and surprisingly rich style. It can be compared to a great Batard-Montrachet from Burgundy.
