Nestled on the hillside of Crapon, west of Rasteau, Domaine Gourt de Mautens <\/strong>embodies the singular and uncompromising vision of J\u00e9r\u00f4me Bressy, a passionate winemaker and pioneer of biodynamic winegrowing in the Vaucluse. Founded in 1996, this discreet estate produces red and white wines of rare intensity from 13 hectares of vines cultivated organically since 1989 and biodynamically since 2008. The old vines\u2014some between 30 and 100 years old\u2014are trained in goblet style, and J\u00e9r\u00f4me Bressy cultivates around twenty indigenous grape varieties: Grenache, Mourv\u00e8dre, Counoise, Vaccar\u00e8se, Picardan, as well as Bourboulenc, Clairette, and Picpoul.
