TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE <\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\nArticle 1: APPLICATION OF THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\nOnce an order has been validated by the buyer on our website www.thebestvintage.fr, the buyer agrees to abide by all the terms and conditions herein.<\/span><\/p>\nArticle 2 : PRICES<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\nOur prices are non-binding and subject to availability. The valid prices are those indicated at the time of the order as they appear on our site (errors and omissions excepted).
Our site is updated regularly (at least once a day, Monday to Friday), but stocks are not shown in real time.<\/span><\/p>\nArticle 3: METHOD OF PAYMENT<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n– Secure payment: payment by credit card is secured by an SSL-compliant online payment system.<\/span><\/p>\n– Payment by bank transfer: you can send us a bank transfer through our partner bank. You will find all our bank details when you place your order and choose your method of payment.<\/span><\/p>\nWe reserve the right to request payment by bank transfer in advance rather than by credit card or cheque if we deem it necessary for the security of the transaction.<\/span><\/p>\nOrders will only become effective on receipt of payment from the buyer. Any order not paid within a week will be cancelled without formalities.

The transfer of ownership takes place upon delivery of the order to the address indicated.<\/span><\/p>\nArticle 4: DEADLINE AND AVAILABILITY<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\nThe delivery phase by our teams, present from Monday to Friday, takes effect as soon as the invoice has been paid<\/strong>. The order will be sent to the address indicated by the buyer when validating the order.
Delivery in mainland France generally takes between 2 and 5 days, depending on the destination.
For deliveries abroad, delivery times vary according to destination. Please note that orders can only be dispatched from Monday to Friday. For further information, we remain at the buyer’s disposal.
We have over 3,000 bottles in stock. Deliveries can only be made while stocks last. If the order cannot be insured, it will be refunded in full or replaced in agreement with the buyer. The sale includes a retention of title clause in accordance with law N\u00b0 80335 of 12\/05\/080.<\/span><\/p>\nArticle 5: PRIZES<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\nAll our prices are shown inclusive of VAT or, at the user’s option, in VAT and EURO. The current VAT rate is 20%. Prices are per bottle or size indicated. For transport and insurance costs, please refer to the relevant sections.
Orders are without obligation as to quantity, unless otherwise indicated.

All our wines are immediately available and can be delivered within 3 to 4 working days for France, and 5 to 8 days for Europe. We cannot be held responsible for these delays, which are the sole responsibility of the carriers. The goods travel under cover of the transport regulations in force. Goods remain our property until full payment has been received, in accordance with French law no. 80 335 of May 12, 1980. Note: all our goods, even when sold carriage paid, travel at the consignee’s risk. It is the recipient’s responsibility to make a precise note of any shortages or damage on the acceptance document, which must be signed, dated and confirmed by L.R. within 3 days. All reservations such as “subject to unpacking” are null and void.<\/span><\/p>\nArticle 7: RETRACTION PERIOD<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\nA retraction period is offered to the buyer in accordance with the provisions of article L 121-16 of the French Consumer Code. The buyer has a period of 7 days from delivery of his order. The order will be exchanged or refunded within 30 days of receipt of the returned order.
The order must be returned in its original packaging, together with the invoice.
Shipping costs (round trip), as well as processing fees, will be charged to the purchaser.
THA BESTVINTAGE must be informed of the return of the goods by e-mail or post.<\/span><\/p>\nArticle 8: LEGAL INFORMATION<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\nUnder Ordinance No. 59-107 of January 07, 1959, the sale of alcohol is prohibited to minors under the age of 18. The purchaser therefore undertakes to be at least 18 years of age on the date of the order.<\/span><\/p>\nAlcohol abuse is dangerous for your health. It should be consumed in moderation.<\/span><\/p>\nTHE BEST VINTAGE undertakes to respect the confidentiality of the information provided by the purchaser, such information being reserved exclusively for THE BEST VINTAGE.
In accordance with article 27 of law N\u00b078-17 of January 6, 1978, the purchaser is free to rectify or remove personal information.<\/span><\/p>\nArticle 9: OTHER<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\nCorked bottles :<\/span><\/p>\nResponsibility for corked bottles lies with the estate (or n\u00e9gociant) designated as the bottler. In the event of cork taint, the procedure is as follows: return the bottle (full or practically full) and its original cork to us, with an accompanying letter stating that the bottle was purchased from our company. On receipt, we will forward the claim to the property (or dealer) concerned, who will judge whether the claim is well-founded and decide whether or not to replace it.
