Domaine Giraud Lirac Les Sables d\u2019Ar\u00e8ne 2023 is a beautifully balanced Southern Rh\u00f4ne red based on 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 20% Mourv\u00e8dre. Aged for 12 months in concrete, the wine retains excellent fruit purity and freshness without any overt oak influence. Bottled in spring 2025, the 2023 combines red and dark fruits with pepper, violets and delicate floral notes. The palate is medium-bodied, juicy and lively, supported by ripe tannins and impressive length. Jeb Dunnuck awarded the wine 90 points and considers it already drinking beautifully while retaining the ability to develop through 2033. Wine Spectator also awarded the vintage 89 points.
