Domaine Gourt de Mautens IGP Vaucluse 2019 is an exceptional cuv\u00e9e, crafted from a blend of indigenous Rh\u00f4ne grape varieties, grown on clay-limestone soils. This wine is the result of biodynamic farming, enhancing the pure expression of the grapes and terroir. The deep and complex nose reveals ripe black fruits, garrigue, leather, and cocoa, with hints of licorice and sweet spices. The palate is ample and velvety, showcasing impressive structure and a long mineral finish. Its freshness perfectly balances its power, making it enjoyable now yet promising an outstanding evolution over time. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":2970,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_et_pb_use_builder":"on","_et_pb_old_content":"The 2019 reminded me of the 2007 or even the 2016 with its incredible opulence, sweet fruit and flamboyant style. On the nose, superb black raspberry and strawberry characteristics mingle with notes of incense, white and black pepper, fruitcake, plum, garrigue and Asian spices. Full-bodied, deep and concentrated on the palate, it has nothing to envy of sweet fruit (I wouldn't be surprised if there's a little residual sugar), but it's of great purity, without asperities, and its finish is fabulous, clean and dry. It took a lot of air for him to show his best side, and he will benefit from a short guard.
