Cuv\u00e9e de mon A\u00efeul 2015 is a stunning showcase of Domaine Pierre Usseglio\u2019s expertise. Made from 75 to 90-year-old Grenache vines, it is vinified and aged in concrete tanks to preserve fruit purity. The 2015 vintage, marked by ideal sun exposure, offers remarkable concentration and rich aromas. Dark fruits, sweet spices, and licorice blend seamlessly in a full-bodied, silky palate. As always, it comes from three Grenache parcels: la Serres, la Crau and la Guigasse (each parcel comprises 2 hectares). In 2015 and 2016, this cuv\u00e9e was not destemmed and was aged mainly in vats, with 15-20% in demi-muids. The 2016 spent 45 days on the skins before being pressed in barrel. This beauty offers the fine, delicate style of the vintage, while presenting full-bodied depth and richness, as well as sensational notes of raspberry, crushed flowers, licorice, Christmas fruitcake and spice.
