The 2022 Bertrand Stehelin Gigondas is a superb expression of this renowned Southern Rh\u00f4ne appellation. Produced from 70% Grenache, 25% Syrah and 5% Mourv\u00e8dre, it comes from old vines ranging from 70 to 90 years of age, planted between 100 and 300 metres above sea level on the slopes of the Dentelles de Montmirail. These elevated vineyards bring freshness and aromatic complexity while preserving the richness typical of Gigondas.
The wine is aged for 24 months in traditional oak foudres, allowing the fruit and terroir to remain at the forefront while refining the wine’s texture.
