Anne et Jean-François Ganevat Arbois Le Clos Savagnin 2020 is an exceptional cuvée, crafted from old-vine Savagnin grown on Jura’s marl-limestone terroir. This south-facing parcel, sheltered from cold winds, imparts remarkable tension and deep minerality to the wine. Following a natural vinification with no additives, this wine undergoes four years of barrel aging, enhancing its depth and complexity. The nose bursts with notes of verbena, quince, star anise, and citrus, while the palate, rich and sapid, reveals smoky, iodized, and pastry-like nuances, followed by white and exotic fruit flavors. The long, vibrant finish confirms its extraordinary aging potential.
