Château de la Gardine
The purest expression of the original terroir symbolizes the challenge that all members of the Brunel family set themselves every year, with the greatest respect for the natural environment.
The 54 ha of vineyards of Château de La Gardine in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the 48 ha in Rasteau and the 40 ha of Château Saint-Roch in Lirac offer a wide variety of terroirs and geographical and climatic exposures. Some of the properties are still planted with woods and natural areas scattered throughout the vineyards. These are welcome havens of coolness for the vines, tempering the almost arid dryness of the Mediterranean climate.
