Château de Nalys

Nestled between Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Courthezon, Château de Nalys stands proudly as one of the appellation’s jewels. Its rich history dates back to the 16th century, making it one of the oldest and finest estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, alongside Château la Nerthe and Château de Vaudieu. Since its acquisition by Guigal, a new era has begun for Château de Nalys, breathing new life into the estate while preserving its precious heritage.

Under the direction of Ralph Garcin, renowned oenologist and appellation specialist, the estate is committed to an approach that is both traditional and innovative. With its 70-hectare vineyard planted in a variety of terroirs, Château de Nalys is distinguished by its production of four unique cuvées, two red and two white. This bold choice moves away from the usual plot-by-plot selections towards rigorous blends that reveal the richness and diversity of the estate’s soils. A singular approach that gives rise to wines of great elegance, reflecting the typicity of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and embodying the quintessential savoir-faire of the House of Guigal.

And so, Château de Nalys has established itself as an exceptional estate where tradition and innovation combine to write a new chapter in its glorious history. A most promising future is opening up for this historic jewel, which promises to seduce lovers of fine wines with its refined, elegant cuvées, the ultimate expression of Châteauneuf-du-Pape excellence.
