Domaine de Grand Tinel

Domaine du Grand Tinel is located in the commune of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It was born in 1972 from the marriage of Christiane Establet and Elie Jeune, two historic winegrowing families in the region.

The estate’s history dates back to the 19th century, when Georges Establet acquired parcels of vines in La Gardiole, a renowned terroir in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. These parcels, which still represent the heart of the estate today, are planted with the region’s traditional grape varieties, such as Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Counoise.

Elie Jeune’s father, Lucien Jeune, also owned vineyards in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. He was elected mayor of the commune during the Liberation. Today, Domaine du Grand Tinel boasts 54 hectares of vineyards, including 50 hectares of AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The estate produces a range of fine, racy wines that reflect the richness of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape terroir.

A genuine commitment to sustainable, environmentally-friendly viticulture. The estate’s vines are cultivated using integrated farming methods, with limited use of phytosanitary products. Vinification is also carried out according to tradition, with the wine aged in French oak barrels.
