Mas Saint Louis :

It all began in 1909, when Jean-Louis Geniest, descended from a long line of coopers, acquired a winegrower’s house in the Clos district of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. There he installed his winery and vinification tanks, which are still in use today. His son Gabriel succeeded him at the head of the estate, followed by his grandson Louis. The latter was particularly committed to the development of the estate. He acquired new vineyard parcels and consolidated them to form a homogeneous estate of more than 30 hectares. Today, the estate is run by Monique Geniest, the wife of Jean Geniest, himself the son of Louis Geniest. Monique is passionate about wine and is dedicated to producing high-quality wines that respect the environment.

Domaine Mas Saint Louis is committed to sustainable viticulture. The vines are cultivated in a sustainable manner, limiting the use of phytosanitary products. The estate is also a member of the Association des Vignerons Indépendants de Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
