Domaine Plateau des Chênes is a prestigious estate in the Lirac appellation, managed by the Bréchet family, who also run the famous Château de Vaudieu in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. This winegrowing adventure was born of the desire to make the most of the exceptional terroirs of the southern Rhône Valley and to produce wines of great finesse, reflecting the unique identity of Lirac.
🌿 A Unique Terroir, Between Rolled Pebble Soils and Garrigue
The Plateau des Chênes vineyard lies on a remarkable terroir, similar to that of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, where the rounded pebbles store up the sun’s heat for optimal grape ripening. This exceptional soil, combined with theinfluence of the Mistral wind, produces wines that are powerful, well-balanced and aromatically fresh.

Under the expert management of the Bréchet family, the estate applies rigorous, environmentally-friendly viticulture. Vinification is carried out with the same care and precision as for the great wines of Château de Vaudieu, guaranteeing dense, elegant and expressive cuvées.

✔ Plateau des Chênes Blanc: Composed of Clairette, Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Viognier, it seduces with its freshness, citrus aromas and enveloping texture.
