Anne et Jean-François Ganevat Côtes du Jura Les Cèdres 2020 is a unique white wine, made from over 80-year-old Chardonnay vines planted on an exceptional marl-limestone terroir, so rich in limestone that the soil appears white. Facing south and sheltered from Jura’s cool winds, this site provides the wine with remarkable aromatic intensity and deep minerality. This vintage underwent four years of aging in large wooden vessels, enhancing its complexity and depth. The nose is intense, blending notes of verbena, quince, star anise, and citrus. The palate is generous on entry, with a broad texture and a long, sapid finish, lifted by smoky, iodized, and pastry-like nuances.
