Château de Beaucastel’s 2010 Châteauneuf-du-Pape stands among the greatest vintages of the estate. Compared by Marc Perrin to the superb 2015, it already shows remarkable expressiveness, with layers of garrigue, sweet spices, incense, and ripe black cherry and currant. Full-bodied and beautifully pure, it offers impressive mid-palate density, refined texture, and ripe, perfectly integrated tannins. A monumental Beaucastel, both powerful and elegant.
