The flagship white from this address, the 2023 Châteauneuf Du Pape Blanc is based on 40% Grenache Blanc, 40% Roussanne, 18% Clairette, and the rest Picardan and Picpoul Blanc. It's an absolutely gorgeous effort revealing upfront stone fruits, honeyed white flowers, toasted bread, and subtle tropical nuances in a medium to full-bodied, concentrated, textured, yet vibrant, flawlessly balanced package. It's up with the crème de la crème of the vintage, and while I love it today, I see no reason this shouldn't evolve for at least a decade.
