I really enjoyed the classic 2021 Châteauneuf-du-Pape, which has a ripe and expansive style with aromas of Provençal garrigue, pepper, and a mix of red and black fruits. This medium-bodied, elegant, and silky wine offers fine tannins and plenty of charm. It is composed of 54% Grenache, 30% Syrah, and the rest Mourvèdre, destemmed and aged mainly in used demi-muids, with a small portion in old barrels and foudre.
