Coming from 100% galets roulés soils, the 2024 Châteauneuf Du Pape Le Plateau Blanc is based on 70% Grenache Blanc and 30% Clairette, vinified and aged entirely in new French oak barrels. It brings another level of depth, richness, and complexity, with orange blossom, mint, toasted spices, and caramelized peach all shining here. Medium to full-bodied, it has a concentrated, layered mouthfeel, integrated acidity, and a stunning finish. This unquestionably stands as one of the wow wines of the vintage, offering a rare mix of purity, precision, and richness, and can be kept for 20-25 years if you're so inclined.
