The 2017 Châteauneuf-du-Pape La Combe des Fous features its usual blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, complemented by Vaccarèse and Cinsault, aged in vats and demi-muids. It reveals aromas of kirsch liqueur, white flowers, graphite and ground pepper, with a marked minerality. This 2017 vintage, both ethereal and powerful, is concentrated yet retains an elegant Provençal style characteristic of the vintage.
