Domaine de la Vieille Julienne Chateauneuf-du-Pape 2022

Châteauneuf Du Pape 2022 is Jean-Paul's new cuvée, made entirely from estate fruit and vines located near Boislauzon, in the northern part of the appellation. The three cuvées (Trois Source, Hauts-Lieux and Réserve) will continue to focus solely on the tiny "Cru" located directly opposite the estate, in the northern part of the appellation. Composed of 60% Grenache and the rest Cinsault and Counoise, all destemmed and aged in foudre, this is a very pretty, elegant expression of Châteauneuf du Pape, revealing nuances of fragrant red fruits, savory flowers and Provencal herbs in its medium-bodied, silky, Rayas-like style.
