The 2019 reminded me of the 2007 or even the 2016 with its incredible opulence, sweet fruit and flamboyant style. On the nose, superb black raspberry and strawberry characteristics mingle with notes of incense, white and black pepper, fruitcake, plum, garrigue and Asian spices. Full-bodied, deep and concentrated on the palate, it has nothing to envy of sweet fruit (I wouldn't be surprised if there's a little residual sugar), but it's of great purity, without asperities, and its finish is fabulous, clean and dry. It took a lot of air for him to show his best side, and he will benefit from a short guard. This is one of the most attractive wines of the vintage and will keep for a decade... Jeb Dunnuck
