The 2004 vintage of La Reine des Bois from Domaine de la Mordorée offers a beautiful example of how great Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines evolve with time. Made from a Grenache-based blend with Syrah and Mourvèdre, this cuvée now reveals a refined and layered profile. The nose shows dried fruit, plum, forest floor, leather and sweet spices. The palate is soft and velvety, with melted tannins, fine structure and a long, graceful finish. A fully mature wine of quiet power and elegance.
