The Châteauneuf Du Pape Réserve Des Deux Frères 2020 is normally 100% Grenache and is a cellar selection. In 2020, it was aged at around 30% in new oak, and I think there was some cob as well. This is another magical wine from this estate, boasting a dense purple hue as well as a perfume of black raspberry, cassis, blueberry liqueur, spring flowers, toast and lavender. The palate is full-bodied, with incredible mouthfeel, fascinating purity and ultra-fine tannins. This is without doubt one of the greatest wines of this vintage.
