Anglada 2018 is an emblematic micro-cuvée from the Roc d’Anglade estate. Stemming from the Canzert and Mégères lieux-dits, it blends 60% Cinsault and 40% Syrah, vinified in whole bunches. This Mediterranean red develops an airy, subtle expression, halfway between southern fleshiness and Burgundian finesse. Matured with precision, it is a vibrant, structured and emotional wine.

Why choose this wine:

Because Anglada 2018 embodies the essence of the Roc d'Anglade style: a finely textured southern red, vinified with exacting standards and freedom. It's a wine that speaks as much to the heart as to the intellect, cultivating freshness, transparency and aromatic complexity. A rare bottle for lovers of elegant, nuanced reds.

The robe is deep ruby with garnet hues. The nose offers intense aromas of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, bay leaf, garrigue, black pepper and a hint of leather. On the palate, the wine is linear, fluid and structured, with elegant texture and remarkable freshness for the vintage. The tannins are fine and stretched, and the long finish reveals black cherry, blond tobacco and a subtle salty edge.
