Châteauneuf Du Pape Blanc 2023 is simply excellent. A blend of 70% Clairette and 30% Roussanne aged in a mixture of foudre and small concrete containers, its medium gold hue is followed by a sensational perfume of stone fruit, dried pineapple, white flowers and crushed stone. This medium- to full-bodied white wine features an elegant, layered palate, perfectly integrated acidity and an excellent finish. It's available now, but will benefit from a year or two of bottle age and keep for over a decade. If you get the chance, don't miss this wine! Only 250 cases are produced. Jeb Dunnuck
