Domaine Giraud
Organic Farming Estate
Today, the estate extends over 8 hectares in a single block, located in the south of the appellation in the Galimardes district. This terroir is known for its soil of imposing rolled pebbles that radiate a gentle warmth in the evening. The latter brings concentration and power to the grapes while preserving a beautiful mineralitý.
On these parcels, the estate grows vines of century-old Grenache, Mourvèdre and young Syrah. The white grape varieties Clairette, Bourboulenc, Grenache Blanc and Roussane are planted nearbý.
Grenaches over a hundred years old take root in the Crau districts and on the Pignan plateau. These terroirs are renowned for their sandy soils, which lend finesse and elegance to this emblematic grape variety.
In the Les Tresquoys district, our Syrahs flourish on the hillside in clay soil mixed with the rich earth typical of the appellation.
The estate takes care of each plot and each grape variety with the utmost respect for the terroir and the alchemy that nature gives them, to express the richness of their grapes.
