Anne et Jean-François Ganevat Le Courage 2021 is an exceptional cuvée, crafted from old Riesling vines grown on granite soils. This wine undergoes three and a half years of lees aging in foudres, with no added sulfur or other inputs, allowing for a pure and expressive interpretation of the grape. The intense nose reveals smoky minerality, pastry notes, candied lemon, fresh pear, iodine, and white pepper. The palate is precise, broad, and perfectly balanced, with a long, mineral-driven finish reminiscent of great Alsatian Rieslings, yet with a distinctive Jura twist.
