The smaller-production cuvée of Châteauneuf-du-Pape Le Puy Rolland 2019 is made exclusively from Grenache, grown on sandy soils and aged in foudre. Its color is slightly lighter than other cuvées, while the nose reveals classic aromas of wild strawberry, iodine, violet, and Provençal spices.
On the palate, it offers a medium to full-bodied structure, showcasing Grenache in all its finesse and elegance, with light tannins, a fluid texture, and remarkable length. While it will benefit from 2 to 3 years of bottle aging, it also has the potential to evolve beautifully over 15 years, thanks to its balance, harmony, and purity.
