Why choose this wine:

The Château de Nalys Châteauneuf-du-Pape Saintes Pierres 2022 is a cuvée that showcases the richness and complexity of its terroir. Its powerful nose reveals aromas of ripe dark fruits, sweet spices, garrigue, and a subtle smoky touch. The palate is elegant and structured, with silky tannins and a beautiful freshness that balances its rich aromatic profile. Its aging in foudres and barrels adds depth and a long, savory finish. A bold and authentic Châteauneuf, perfect for cellaring.

The 2022 Châteauneuf Du Pape Saintes Pierres De Nalys is slightly more Grenache-dominated and checks in as 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 4% Muscardin, 2% Mourvèdre, and the rest Cinsault, Vaccarèse, and Counoise. It exhibits classic 2022 aromatics of sunny red and black fruits, Provençal garrigue, tapenade, and pepper. With medium to full-bodied richness, a pure, elegant mouthfeel, and beautiful tannins, it's going to be much more approachable in its youth compared to the more concentrated, inward Grand Vin.
