Châteauneuf Du Pape 2022, a blend of mostly Grenache, was aged mainly in foudre, with a small portion in barrel. Semi-opaque ruby in color, with lots of floral, spicy, peppery and Provençal aromas and flavors, it's medium- to full-bodied, with a ripe, sexy yet weightless palate, silky tannins and an excellent finish. This is a magnificent, classic Châteauneuf Du Pape that will drink well from release, while evolving for two decades.
