Clos des Papes Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2024 is a rare and sought-after wine, crafted from a harmonious blend of Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Roussanne, Bourboulenc, Picardan, and Picpoul. Its terroir of rolled pebbles, clay, and sand provides a balance of power and finesse. Aged for six months on fine lees in stainless steel and concrete vats, with no malolactic fermentation, it retains incredible freshness and minerality. The nose is floral and delicate, with candied citrus, fresh pear, and quince aromas. On the palate, the attack is vibrant and generous, leading to a refined salinity and lingering finish, accented by elegant spice notes.

Why choose this wine:

Clos des Papes Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2024 is one of the finest whites of the appellation, perfect for gastronomic wine lovers and collectors. Its freshness and aromatic complexity make it an ideal pairing for premium seafood, sauced fish dishes, Bresse poultry, or salt-crusted sea bass. With great aging potential, it can be enjoyed young or cellared for 15 years, developing flavors of dried fruits, toasted almonds, and honey. A must-have white wine of exceptional quality.

Clos des Papes blanc 2024 is quite floral, but as is often the case, it also has a hint of aniseed. On the palate, there's grapefruit, minerality and a very saline touch. This is a wine you can enjoy young with these aromas, or age in the same way as the reds, knowing that it will go through different stages of evolution. Namely, minerality, dried fruit, honey and toasted almonds. As you know, there's always a year's difference between the reds and the whites, because the whites are not aged in wood, as we want to retain a certain freshness and minerality. They are aged on fine lees until February before bottling. We remind you that our whites should be served at 12°C, not on ice, and can also be decanted.
