Made from the estate's oldest vines on the La Crau plateau, Châteauneuf Du Pape Les Terres De La Crau 2022 is 85% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 5% Cinsault. Its medium ruby hue is followed by a spicy, savory and complex perfume of black cherries, blackberries, toasted garrigue and acacia flowers. I love its complexity, and this beauty hits the palate with a broad, medium to full-bodied, layered and seamless mouthfeel, with ripe tannins and a lovely finish. This wine has a classic, almost old-school character, but it's also beautifully balanced, elegant and pure. I love this wine.
