This single-vineyard Syrah comes from old vines in the Maison-Rouge area. Presenting an elegant, refined structure, this cuvée has benefited from special care in the vineyards, with exclusively manual attention and organic treatment practices. In the cellar, vinification took place in wooden vats and open barrels. Part of the harvest was destemmed and maceration lasted 3 to 4 weeks. The wine was then aged for 24 months in barrels, 30% of which were new. Dark ruby-purple in color, its aromas of black fruits, oriental spices and empyreumatic nuances enhance its well-defined tannins, which soften with age to create a silky texture. Over the years, this Côte-Rôtie reveals notes of licorice and cigar, and is best aged for many years to fully appreciate its evolution.
