Sensational aromas of blackcurrant, violet, crushed rock and spring flowers precede a deep, layered, fluid 2018 that embodies the purity and elegance of the vintage while offering remarkable richness. Elegance and purity are the watchwords here, but with substance and concentration very much in evidence. It will benefit from a short cellaring period and promises very long cellaring.
