Domaine Roger Sabon

 

Family estate founded in 1952 by Roger SABON.

After several generations, the estate now comprises an 18-hectare vineyard on the left bank of the Rhône in the Châteauneuf du Pape appellation, spread over 14 different parcels.

On the right bank, the vineyard comprises 12 hectares of Lirac appellation, 6 hectares of Côtes-du-Rhône and 14 hectares of Vin de France.

This diversity enables us to develop and offer our loyal customers a wide choice of wines with varied profiles.

Roger Sabon "Cuvée Les Olivets"

Grape varieties: Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault

Age of vines: 50 years

Terroir: Clay-limestone type

Destemming: The bunches are destemmed.

Yield : 28 hl per hectare

Ageing: The cuvée is blended before ageing, and the estate uses only large oak containers (40 hl foudres, 25 hl truncated-cone vats, 600-liter demi-muids).

in large oak containers (40 hl foudres, 25 hl truncated-cone vats, demi-muids)
