Anglada 2008 is a confidential cuvée from young white grenache vines grown on the limestone and silica soils of Anglade. This southern white surprises with its tension, depth and style that defies regional norms. Precise vinification and subtle aging bring out a vibrant wine with fine salinity, pure fruit and a delicately bitter finish. An original, age-worthy Mediterranean white of true character.

Why choose this wine:

Because Anglada 2008 captures Roc d’Anglade’s essence: a southern red with fine texture, crafted with both rigor and freedom. It speaks to both heart and mind, offering freshness, clarity and aromatic nuance. A rare bottle for lovers of elegant, layered reds.

The robe is deep ruby with garnet hues. The nose offers intense aromas of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, bay leaf, garrigue, black pepper and a hint of leather. On the palate, the wine is linear, fluid and structured, with elegant texture and remarkable freshness for the vintage. The tannins are fine and stretched, and the long finish reveals black cherry, blond tobacco and a subtle salty edge.
