Domaine La Bastide Saint Dominique :

The Bastide Saint Dominique estate was built around a chapel dating back to the 16th century. Founded in 1976 by Gérard and Marie-Claude Bonnet, the estate was taken over by Éric Bonnet in 1999, the worthy successor ready to perpetuate the family tradition with a touch of dynamism and modernity. Previously described as a modest estate, it is now a 50-hectare property. Rich in diversity, it covers the following appellations: Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes-du-Rhône, Côtes-du-Rhône Villages, Cairanne and IGP Méditerranée.

La Bastide Saint Dominique benefits from the region’s varied soils: saffron resting on limestone, red clay and the emblematic galets roulés for which Châteauneuf-du-Pape is famous. As well as emblematic grape varieties such as Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Cinsault for the reds, and Clairette and Roussanne for the whites.

The vineyard combines traditional methods with modern equipment. Harvesting is meticulously cared for, with selective sorting in the plots followed by sorting in the cellar. By mastering every stage of the process, from tending the vines to vinification, bottling and marketing, the estate retains its authenticity and identity.
