The 2021 vintage from Bergerie de l’Arcade marks a new high point for this rising estate in Pouzols. Sourced from organically farmed vines and crafted from Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Carignan, the wine is aged 24 months in barrels and refined in tank before bottling. The result is a luminous red with aromas of ripe wild berries, cherry, soft spices and floral hints. The palate is vibrant, with silky tannins, precise structure and evolving depth. A captivating Languedoc red full of finesse and life.

Why choose this wine:

Because it reflects a singular vision of southern wine: refined, expressive, and free from excess. The 2021 vintage is cool and balanced, offering both pleasure and complexity. Rare and sought-after, it’s a wine for those who love southern France beyond stereotypes.

One of the top 2004s, the Domaine de la Mordorée Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée de la Reine des Bois is very unique with a dark fruit and coffee slant to the nose. Medium bodied with beautiful structure and a long finish.
