The Château La Gardine Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2022 is a cuvée of great intensity, expressing the full richness of its iconic terroir. Its blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and other traditional grape varieties gives it remarkable depth. The nose reveals a powerful bouquet combining ripe black fruits, soft spices, licorice, and a touch of garrigue. On the palate, the texture is silky, the tannins perfectly integrated, and the balance between power and freshness outstanding. A long and elegant finish completes this harmonious wine, crafted for beautiful aging.
The 2022 Châteauneuf-du-Pape, composed of 50% Grenache, 28% Syrah, 20% Mourvèdre, and 2% Muscardin, was aged in very old barrels. Its deep ruby hue precedes a powerful nose of ripe black cherries, roasted garrigue, pepper, and graphite. This richly textured, medium to full-bodied wine offers a broad, layered mouthfeel, with plenty of tannins and a beautiful finish. Allow it to age for 2 to 4 years and enjoy it over the following decade.
