Domaine de La Janasse, renowned for its exceptional expertise in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, offers with Cuvée Chaupin 2016 a wine of great complexity and remarkable ageing potential. A must for lovers of great Rhône wines.

Cuvée Chaupin 2016 is a spectacular blend of 100% Grenache from a cooler terroir in the northwest of the appellation. The true essence of Grenache, it boasts an extraordinary perfume of black raspberry, spring flowers, licorice and notes of roasted meat. On the palate, this is a dense, full-bodied wine of striking concentration, with fresh acidity, a surprisingly light and elegant texture, and a mass of tannins that reveals itself on the finish. Although it already possesses sufficient texture to seduce today, it will really benefit from 4 to 5 years of cellaring, and can be enjoyed with pleasure for 20 to 30 years.
