Why choose this wine:

Domaine de la Solitude Le Vin de la Solitude 2024 stands apart for its unique approach and unconventional blend, where Grenache is not the dominant grape variety. Long macerations and the co-fermentation of multiple grape varieties bring remarkable complexity and aromatic finesse. Layers of red and black fruits, spices, and garrigue create a delicate, elegant profile with an almost Burgundian character. Aged for 15 months in oak barrels and bottled without fining or filtration, this biodynamic wine offers a silky texture, vibrant freshness, and exceptional purity. Produced in fewer than 3,000 bottles, it is a rare cuvée that can be enjoyed now or cellared for around 10 years.

Châteauneuf-du-Pape Le Vin de la Solitude 2024 is a fascinating blend composed of 30% Counoise, 22% Grenache, 17% Mourvèdre, with the remainder made up of Clairette (Blanche and Rose), Bourboulenc, Roussanne, and Picpoul. It evokes the finesse and elegance of a great red Burgundy Grand Cru, offering an expressive bouquet of ripe red and black fruits layered with peppery garrigue, dark chocolate, and sweet spices. Medium- to full-bodied, exceptionally refined, seamless, and captivating, it is a wine of remarkable purity and balance. While it is not intended for extremely long aging, it should evolve beautifully for at least a decade.
