Château Sixtine Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2024 is a characterful white wine showcasing the nobility of Southern Rhône whites. Produced in limited quantities, this vintage combines aromatic richness, freshness and mineral tension. Grown on the famous rolled pebble soils of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the grapes achieve perfect ripeness while maintaining precision and balance. The blend led by Roussanne and Grenache Blanc brings depth, texture and complexity. Carefully managed ageing in barrels and demi-muids refines the wine without overshadowing the purity of the fruit. This is an elegant gastronomic white with excellent ageing potential.

Why choose this wine:

Château Sixtine Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2024 delivers a refined and generous expression of the appellation’s great white wines. The nose reveals white flowers, stone fruits, peach, pear and delicate honeyed spice notes. The palate is rich yet fresh, with a layered texture supported by mineral tension. A subtle natural sweetness adds charm and balance without heaviness. The finish is long, elegant and persistent. Perfect with scallops, creamy poultry dishes, bouillabaisse or aged cheeses. A gastronomic wine that will gain complexity with cellaring.

The medium gold-hued 2024 Châteauneuf Du Pape Blanc is based on 85% Roussanne and the rest Clairette and was raised in a mix of demi-muid, old oak, and stainless steel. Golden apples, toasted bread, spice, and honeyed flower notes all emerge from this beauty, and it's medium to full-bodied on the palate, with a layered, richer style that I adore. It's going to shine on the dinner table, and I suspect it will have 5-7 years of longevity, if not longer, although the evolution of these dry whites from the Southern Rhône can be incredibly tricky to predict.
