In the same vein as Les Quartz, the 2024 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Les Safres is a blend of 90% Grenache and 10% Mourvèdre, sourced from the sandy safre soils of the Les Bédines lieu-dit. Fully destemmed, the wine was aged for 14 months in foudre.
The nose opens with vibrant aromas of ripe red fruit, crushed stone, flowers and subtle spice. Medium-bodied, the palate stands out for its purity, precision and elegance, with remarkable length. The overall balance is particularly appealing, showing a focused, clean and highly polished style that faithfully reflects the domaine’s current identity.
Production amounts to approximately 1,916 cases. Best enjoyed between 2025 and 2038.
