Silex 2019 is the flagship wine of Louis-Benjamin Dagueneau and one of the world’s benchmark Sauvignon Blancs. Produced from old vines planted on the famous flint soils of Saint-Andelain, this iconic Pouilly-Fumé showcases the extraordinary precision and purity that made Didier Dagueneau a legend. Hand-harvested grapes, meticulous vineyard work and twelve months of ageing on fine lees in large oak foudres create a wine of remarkable concentration, crystalline minerality and outstanding balance. The 2019 vintage is rich yet vibrant, with the structure to evolve beautifully for two decades or more.
