The Château des Fines Roches Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2020 is a beautifully mature expression of the appellation produced by Vignobles Mousset-Barrot. The blend is led by 70% Grenache, complemented by 15% Syrah, 8% Mourvèdre and 4% Cinsault. Rather than relying on sheer power, the 2020 vintage offers a more supple and nuanced interpretation of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The Guide Hachette awarded it one star and highlighted its cherry and garrigue character, smooth texture and lively tannins, while indicating a drinking window of 2025-2032. With 93 points from Wine Advocate and 92 points from Wine Spectator, this is a highly regarded vintage that is now entering an excellent stage of maturity.
