The Louis-Benjamin – Didier Dagueneau Pur Sang 2022 is one of the estate's emblematic wines and a remarkable expression of Loire Sauvignon Blanc. Following Didier Dagueneau's passing in 2008, Louis-Benjamin has continued the estate's uncompromising pursuit of purity, depth and terroir expression. Pur Sang comes from the La Folie sector, where vines grow on light clay mixed with small flints over a limestone base. Rather than focusing on overt varietal Sauvignon character, the wine expresses remarkable texture, tension and mineral intensity. The warm and early 2022 vintage brought impressive concentration while retaining the energy and precision that define Pur Sang. White fruit, peach, citrus and flowers combine with smoky, chalky nuances before a broad yet vibrant palate and a long saline finish.
