Domaine Charvin Chateauneuf du Pape 2021

Magnificent floral aromas of raspberry, mentholated herbs, sappy garrigue and fresh rose petals emerge from Laurent's brilliant, medium-bodied and incredibly elegant Châteauneuf Du Pape 2021. It gains white pepper with time in the glass (no doubt because of the stems) and presents a fresh, concentrated, almost crisp style that will benefit from 2-3 years of bottle age and evolve for well over a decade. This is an elegant, fresher Charvin with a lot to offer. Unfortunately, production has dropped by over 40%, so there's not much to get your teeth into. Tasted twice with consistent notes.
